This page explains how to install Svija Tools without going through Adobe Exchange.

1. Install WinSCP from the distributor’s website
- this link will open winscp.net in a new window
- download and install WinSCP normally (watch out for the ads)
2. Install Svija Tools from the Svija Store
Click on this logo to download the Svija Tools ZIP archive:
Unzip the downloaded file and drag it into:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\CEP\extensions\Restart Adobe Illustrator
You should find Svija Tools under the Windows › Extensions menu.

If Svija Tools is Missing in Illustrator
If you do not see Svija Tools under Window › Extensions, you will need to turn on Debug Mode for Adobe Illustrator:
- Open the Registry Editor (Windows Start, then type “regedit”)
- Go to Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\CSXS.9 (go to the highest number present)
- Add a new string and call it PlayerDebugMode, and set the value to 1
Restart Adobe Illustrator.
